China MOH Proposing 53 New National Standards for Food Safety

53 national standards for food safety including the General standard for Flavoring Substances (Draft) and 52 new standards for food additives have been complied in accordance with GB2760 – 2011 (Standards for Uses of Food Additives). Another two modification forms for GB1900 - 2010 (BHT) and GB12489 - 2010 (morpholine fatty acid salt fruit wax) were released together with the above mentioned 53 standards for public consultation until 20 Feb 2013. The drafts and revisions are available on the MOH website.
