China Food and Drug Administration has issued ‘Catalogue of Already-used Cosmetic Raw Materials’ (hereinafter called Catalogue ) on Dec 23,2015. This Catalogue covers 8803 kinds of raw materials used in China totally. Cosmetic products marked in China can only use raw materials covered by this Catalogue.

The Catagloue does not provide English name for some materials. Randis supplemented the English names. These are marked in Yellow.

·     What you need note here is sunscreen agents, preservatives, coloring agents, hair coloring agent and restricted substances etc. that are listed in 'Hygienic and Safety standard for cosmetics' (2015 Edition) but not in this Catalogue, they can be considered as already used cosmetic raw materials, which should be in accordance with 'Hygienic and Safety standard for cosmetics' (2015 Edition) when used.
